countancy. A Jan. 22 wedding

LOS ANGELES, (JTA)—Sam-
tiel B. Gach, editor and publisher
of the California Jewish Voice,
will address 2,000 Evangelical
churchmen who will attend the
Bethseda World Training Center
•to be held in Portland, Ore., in
September.
Dr. Thomas Wyatt, head of the
Evangelical group, who tendered
the invitation, is a severe critic
of Gerald L: K. Smith, "Chris-
tian Nationalist" leader,• who has
been conducting anti-Semitic
propaganda among followers of
the Evangelical Church.
The invitation to the Los An-
geles editor came after he had
published a column replying to
statements by Smith that "the
Jew hates Christ" and that "or-
ganized Jewry" has "determined
Contempt . . for the great dy-
camic of Christian faith out of

Mother Losing Sight
Granted Final Wish

NEW YORK, (JTA) — Mrs.
Goldie Meyers, an 80-year-Old
patient in the Hebrew Home and
Hospital for the Aged in Brook-
lyn, had a wish come true last
week.
Mrs. Meyers is suffering from
an eye ailment that doctors said
would leave her totally blind
within a month. She expressed
the wish that she be given the
opportunity to see one of her five
sons once again, for the last time.
Her wish was conveyed to the
