Airman First Class Pickman
is attached to the 3300th Train-
ing Publications Squadron, U. S.
Air Force. He is stationed in St.
Louis. Formerly a student at
Wayne University, he served as
advertising director for student
publications and is a member of
H Delta Epsilon, honorary jour-
nalism fraternity. He received
his B. S. degree in advertising

and is currently enrolled there
fololwing the M. B. A. program
in marketing and advertising.

Rabbi Weinberg to Speak
at Farband Camp Saturday

Weinberg, of Ann Arbor, who

U.S. Ambassador Among
Speakers at Bar-Ilan

Edward B. Lawson, United
States Ambassador to Israel, will
be one of the speakers at, dedica-*
Lion ceremonies Aug. 7, for Bar-
Ilan University in. Israel, it has
been announced by Dean Samuel
Sar, acting chairman of the uni-
versity's board of trustees.
Dedication ceremonies will be
held in -the, presence of more
than 2,000 persons at the 'Uni-
versity site at Ramat Gan, the
garden suburb of Tel Aviv. The
university will be opened for its
first classes on Sept 20.
Dr. Peyton N. Rhodes, presi-
dent of Southwestern College of
Memphis, Tenn., will address the
dedication audience as • a 'repre-
sentative of the Association of
American Colleges, Dean Sar re-
ported.

House- Approves Printing
of New "Pledge Song"

The House unanimously ap-
proved the printing of Irving
Caesar's musical score to "The
Pledge of Allegiance To The
Flag,' under the sponsorship of
Congressman Louis C. Rabaut's
House Concurrent Resolution. It
was at Rabaut's reciuesi that the
famous song writer • composed
the new music, which was de-
buted before the House of Rep-

resentatives at special - Flag Day
ceremonies on June 14.

Water Company, ending "water-
less days" in Nazareth. Pre-
viously, water was distributed
only weekly in the city. The
project cost an estimated $135,000
part of which was borne by the
city and part by the Israel Gov-
ernment. This spring and sum-
mer the Israel Army had been
trucking in water to supplement
the failing springs which used
to supply the city's water.
