Strasser to Publish Weekly
HAMBURG, (WJA) — 57-year
61d ex-Nazi Otto Strasser, now
leader of a 'Union for German
Reconstruction,' told a circle of
friends, according to the Ham-
burg illustrated •weekly, 'Der
Spiegel,' of his intention to pub-
lish a- weekly, "The German
Freedom," in Frankfurt from
October 1st. Simultaneously,
Strasser intends to launch a
'German Freedom Party' which
1$ to put up candidates for the
German Federal elections in
1957.

of Education scholarships for the
year 1955-56. They are GERALD
M. GOODMAN, of 5405 Third,
and MORTON L. WALLACH, of
2626 Calvert.

Among the 10 Wayne Univer-
sity law students awarded Juris
Doctor degrees at commence-
ment exercises of Wayne Univer-
sity were IRVING A. AUGUST,
of 2976 Monterey, and HOWARD
T. RICE, of 4372 Waverly. The
Juris Doctor degree is not a
graduate degree, but is given in-
stead of the bachelor of law to
signify scholarly activity.
Fifteen directors of communi-
ty campaigns affiliated with the
nationwide UNITED JEWISH
APPEAL will make a four-week
executive, survey of the migra-
tion, settlement, welfare and re-
habilitation programs that are

be accompanied by two mem-
bers of the UJA executive staff,
Rabbi Friedman noted, and will
visit Israel and France.
