who have been outstanding in
the field of speech at the
school's first annual speech ban-
quet at Sammy's Restaurant,
Oak Park, on June 3. .
The pins were presented by
Manuel S. Simon, Miss . Dorothy
Patterson, and Earl Matthews,
sponsors of forensics, dramatics
and radio speech, respectively,
at Mumford.
Featured speaker of the eve-
ning was Harry Goldstein, radio
and television actor and direc-

tor, who discussed job oppor-
tunities in .radio, television and
the theater. Merwin Goldsmith,
