There are five City
of Hope Auxiliaries
in Detroit supporting
activities at the Du-
arte, Calif. cancer,
leukemia, heart and tuberculosis center. Besides the Cancer Fight-
ers, they are the City of Hope Chapter, Auxiliary, Mr. and Mrs.
Group and Duartians. The Center, built in 1913, has grown to be
one of the important medical and research centers in the nation.
On May 22, the Cancer Fighters will hold its annual Dinner-Dance,
at Holiday Manor, proceeds from which support the City of Hope.
Mrs. Oschin is overall chairman.

Greenbush to Open
For Summer May .16

Greenbush Inn, popular sum-
mer resort located at Greenbush,
Mich., on the shores of Lake
Huron will open for the season
on May 16. Special celebrations
are planned for Memorial Day,
July 4 and Labor Day weekends.
Under the new management
of Dr. Max Rosenfeld, Greenbush
will operate as a vacation and
recreation resort. Menus will
feature high protein meat,
chicken and fish or lacto-vege-
tarian foods for those who desire
them.
Dr. Rosenfeld has written
numerous articles, spoken at
many chiropractic and naturo-
pathy conventions locally and
nationally and has taught over
the radio as "The Voice of
Health."
A health specialist with 25
years of practice, Dr. Rosenfeld
will be assisted by Martha Ros-
enfeld as hostess and nutritionist.
Mrs. Rosenfeld has taught here
and in New York, and has spent
the past two years demonstrat-
ing specialty cooking.
Swimming will be available to
vacationers in Greenbush's self-
filtering pool and at the private
lake beach. Children's counsel-
lors will leave parents free to
participate in the resort's recre-
ation activities.
Greenbush facilities will in-
clude games, dancing, play and
swimming, the latter under pro-
fessonal instruction. Facilities
also will be available for mas-
sage, physical therapy, light
treatments and chiropractic ad-
j ustments,

gram last week interviewed
comedian Sam Levenson.
Miss Berman, a Wayne senior,
conducts WDET's "W o m an's
World" program. The appear-
ance of Levenson was considered
a distinct honor, since he did
not have time available for other
appearances, Miss Berman said.
