nounccd that four radio and
television programs have been
scheduled next week in com-
memoration of the Warsaw
Ghetto uprising and the Observ-
ance of Passover. They are:
A special program on the
Warsaw Gh4to, at 11:15 p.m.,
Saturday, over radio station
CKLW.
A Passover program, "Thou
Shalt Teach Thy Son," to be
telecast at 10 p.m., Sunday, over
*WJBK-TV, Channel 2.
A radio program on the Ghet-

The Jewish Community Cen
ter's Dexter-Chevrolet team rep-
resented this city in the annual
Jewish Welfare Board midwest
tournament last weekend in
Toledo, 0.
The team lost out in the
championship round to Pitts-
burgh YMHA, 65-58. They had
previously won semi-final rounds
from Youngstown, 98-23, and St.
Louis, 73-58.
Winner of 14 of 15 games in
Detroit, the squad is composed
of Sam Taub, Donald Schwartz,
Bernie Friedman Nate Krinsky,
Al Chafetz, Jack Nisenbaum,
Aaron Rosenstein, Bob Brown,
Bud Fine, Edward Berson and
Maynard Flusty. Maurice Stot-
zky, gym assistant, served as
team manager and coach.

A ping-pong tournament for
the Jewish 'Community Center's
Sunday Family Fun groups and
visitors, both boys and girls un-
der 16 years old, will begin on
Sunday, at the Woodward Cen-
ter.
Participants will be divided
into four divisions as follows:
boys under 12 years of age;
boys 12-16 years old; girls under
16 years of age; and mixed Wayne Medical Student
doubles.

Myron Haim Joyrich, a soph-
omore medical student at Wayne
I University, last week delivered a
paper before a convention of
medical men and scientists at
Michigan State College, in East
Lansing.
The report covered technical
research accomplished by Joy-
rich last summer while working
with Prof. Robert I. McClaughry,
of the Wayne teaching staff.
The research on the animal
liver was summed up by Joyrich
in his thesis, "Some Observa-
tions of Blood Fibrinogen Levels
in the Dog." He is the son of
Mr. and - Mrs. Joshua Joyrich,
of Detroit.
