is a charter member of the na-
tional JWV Auxiliary, having
served as its first convention
secretary. She has served for 26
consecutive years in communal
and veterans organizations, and
has received many citations
from national service organiza-
tions, government agencies and
the Red Cross.
Her late husband served with
distinction during World War I,
and she has two sons serving in
the United States Air Force.
