arrives at City Hall on Jan. 7.
Following this formal intro-
duction to Detroit, Mayor Tuvia-
hu will meet and address the
combined branches of Work-
men's Circle, Labor Zionist
Movement, delegates and repre-
sentatives of the Landsmanshaf-
ten Council, Yiddish-speaking
groups of the Pioneer Women
and a number of large societies,
including Pinsker, Turover and
Odessa.
The steering committee of t'he
1955 Histadrut campaign, com-
posed of top officers and divi-
sion leaders, has been meeting
regularly since the start of the
drive.
At its meeting last Sunday,
activities reports were heard,
and plans were made for in-
creasing the tempo of the
campaign as it approaches its
final eight weeks. Reports in-
dicated no let up during the
holidays week, as workers
pressed towatd their quarter
of a million dollar goal.

Shaarey Zedek Junior Congre-
gation, according to Edward

gogue's Men's Club.
Participants will include Ron-

Douglas Mossman as cantors,
and David Cullen, Ezra Cutler
