finest of the recent supermar-
ket creations, has large store-
rooms, refrigeration compart-
ments and facilities for sup-
plying every conceivable food
product, and every available
kosher item is procurable in
the new market as well as at
the Cottlers' market on Wyom-
ing and Curtis.
The Cottlers' Dexter-Davison
Markets have always been cen-
ters 'for community projects.
Norman Cottler, a leader in the
Farband, has played a leading
role in the sale of Israel bonds
and in his efforts for the His-
itadrut campaign, and his mar-
kets have been centers for these

The author, in a prefatory
chapter, points out, in an evalu-
I ation of Abraham, that "this
tense, primitive man seems to
have been driven—fanatically,
as are many reformers—by inner
forces to which all else was sub-
servient." She is guided in her
poetry by this idea.
The 25 poems deal with Abra-
ham's life in Ur of Chaldea, his
wandering, in Egypt, and in
i I danaan. A set of notes explain
the historic background of each
poem, with references to the
Biblical sources.

Rhyme" which was published by
Meador Publishing Co. of Boston.
This book evidently fills an
urge to express thoughts in
I verses. It is illustrated, contains
poems that link the author with
every occasion in the Florida re-
sort. and it covers the elements,
the holidays, people, birds, flow-
ers, trees', etc. It even makes an
attempt at humor.
One very long poem pays trib-
ute to Isadore Cohen. In the
holiday section it is all things
to all men: "Easter at Miami
Beach" begins with Easter, .pro-
ceeds to Passover, speaks of
youth's love at Easter time.
"Dedicated to Sun, Sand and
Sea," Author Zieman surely has
found great satisfaction in ful-
filling a personal urge.
