Turkish Government Adds
To Subsidy of Hospital

To Conduct Service

Beth Aaron Synagogue will
conclude its season of late Fri-
day night services when the
congregation's Sisterhood con-
ducts the service at 8:30 p.m.,
today. Rabbi Benjamin H. Gor-
relick will officiate, and Cantor
Judah Goldring, assisted by the
synagogue choir, will chant the
ritual.
The service is being conducted
for the Sisterhood by Mrs. A.
Winkler, program chairman.
Mrs. S. Weinberg will extend
presidential greetings, and spe-
cial prayers and readings will
be given by Mesdames L. Cohen,
J. Kanners, A. Kaplan and H.
Marshall. Rabbi Gorrelick will
preach on "Woman to the Res-
cue," a tribute to womankind at
Purim.
The committee of ushers in-
cludes Mesdames H. Becker, I.
Chaikin, S. Docks, I. Levine, H.
Moss and J. Shenkman. A social
hour following the service will
be directed by Mrs. N. Jaffe,
chairman, assisted by Mesdames
M. Ravet and J. Schneider, co-

The Sisterhood will meet for a

8:30 p.m., Monday, in the syna-

tinguished alumni of the He-
brew Union College, including
Rabbi Leon Fram of Detroit, will
receive honorary degrees from
their alma mater, at Founders'
Day ceremonies in Cincinnati,
March 27.
Jack H. Skirball of Los An-
geles, movie and television pro-
ducer, and Rabbi David. H. Wice,
of Congregation Rodeph Sholom,
Philadelphia, will receive the
degree of Doctor of Hebrew Let-
ters.

Suburban Temple Series Offers Final Guest Lecture

"Science and Religion; Foes

of the final guest lecture in the
"Cavalcade of Jewish Thought"
series at 9 p.m., Monday, at the
Burton School in Huntington
Woods.
Lecturer will be Walter Stark,
of Suburban Temple. The "Cav-
alcade" lectures were a feature
of the College of Jewish Studies,
which meets every Monday night
under the Suburban Temple's
sponsorship.
At 8 p.m., Monday, the tem-
ple's spiritual leader, Dr. Frank

Early Jewish Community in the
U.S.," in his Jewish history class.
