developing the 600 acre Tama-
rack Camp. near Ortonville,
Mich. for expanded local camp
activities.
Sheruth's part in the project
has been to raise funds for the
building, which has been accom-
plished in the past through its
major project, the annual donor
luncheon.
This year's event, to take place
on Tuesday, in the Masonic
Temple will help to further the
cause of Jewish camping in the
Detroit area. Last year, Sheruth
sent 34 youngsters to summer
camp on scholarships. These in-
cluded physically and mentally
handicapped youngsters whose
parents would not have been
able to send them.
Raymond Chase, master of the
concertina and popular radio
and television humorist, will en-
tertain at the donor Tuesday.
