seventh International Congress
for the History of Science
closed with the election of Dr
Fritz S. Bodenheimer, Professor
cf Zoology at the Hebrew Uni-
versity, as president of the In-
ternational Academy for the
History of Science. Nearly 80
delegates from 14 countries at-
tended the parley.
The conference called for the
systematic cataloguing of Ara-
bic manuscripts on scientific
subjects, with the work to be
done at the Bodleian Library at
Oxford University where a con-
siderable part of these manu-
scripts are kept.

NEW YORK, (JTA) -- A new
corporation known as Israel In-
vestors, Inc., has been organized
to promote investments in the
economic development of Israel,
it was announced by I. Edwin
Goldwasser, president.
The registration s t a t e m ent
filed with the Securities and
Exchange Commission indicates
that- a- total of 86,960 shares of
common stock is being offered
for sale for a total capitaliza-
tion of $10,000,400. The cost of
a share of stock in Israel In-
vestors, Inc., is payable in $115
cash or $100 in State of Israel
