Housewives
Beware!

So many complaints have been
received from Detroit housewives
about inexpert and even harm-
ful carpet cleaning done by
door - to -door solicitors, that
Leader feels that is their duty
to issue this warning.
Don't take chances on fly-by-
' night peddlers who ring your
doorbell and offer to clean your
valuable carpets. These men
may do irreparable harm by
fumbling methods and the use
of inadequate equipment and
cheap soaps.
THIS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Wiping off surface soil is not
enough. Knowledge of each car-
pet weave and make •is necessary
for thorough cleaning and beau-
tifying. Leader cleaning is back-
ed by more than a galvanized
bucket. A modern plant and 39
years of experience guarantee
safe, perfect cleaning for any
carpet.
IN FACT
Our men are specially trained
in a school. Our detergents are
tested and recommended by the
carpet manufacturers. Because
of our superior workmanship,
Leader was the first cleaner ap-
pointed by Bigelow-Sanford fac-
tory to use Karpet Kare, the
perfect detergent for wall-to-
wall carpet cleaning.
It is worth the little addition-
al to be safe and sure. Leader
has a record of 39 years of de-
pendable service in all branches
of carpet work. We furnish a
complete service, repairing and
remodeling and cleaning. We
will pick up your rugs and re-
model them to fit your new

The Vaad Harabonim of De.
troit has announced that it is
in accord with the policy against
"mushroom synagogues" as ex-

we do, we expect to enjoy every morsel of the dinner. We want well
prepared food, served graciously; and that is what you can expect
from our staff at the Bel Aire. Whether you choose our French Service
or our regular fine service we make it a point to see that you receive
every courtesy you desire.

We have many fine dinners to offer you for that special occasion
in your life. For example, you might try presstd duck in an exotic

spicy tang and delicate brandy flavor.

But be assured regardless of what you choose; you will receive only
the finest foods, fit for a gourmet.
