LOUIE CdHANE
The world knows Detroit for its auto-
mobiles,
Its dynamic spirit and such.
We boast of new models and motors
and wheels,
But some things aren't mentioned so
much.
Old timers recall how he kept on the
ball
In at tacking the "pinks" and the
"Bunds."
His purse took a loss, as he helped the
Red Cross,
And all the Community Funds.
Whatever the need, Lou Cohane took the
lead.
With no thought of privilege or gain.
All our banks with their dough couldn't
pay what we owe
To fellows like Louie Cohane!
Yet will I rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my sal-
vation. The Lord God is my
strength,—Hab. 3:18, 19.
