PARIS, (JTA). —Leon Soloveit-
chik, one-time leader of the
Jewish community of Kovno,
Lithuania, died here at the age
of 76. When the Soviet Union
stook over Lithuania Mr. Solo-
veitchik was sent to Siberia but
was later released and went to
Paris. •
