Plans Passover Oneg

. Mrs. Herbert L. Harris, presi-
dent of Adas Shalom Sister-
bood. announces an oneg shab-
bat to be held at 2 p.m., March
21, at the home of Mrs. Samuel
B, Spizman, 17576 Fairfield.
The afternoon's program will
be presented by teen-age sons
and daughters of members on a
Passover theme, according to
Mrs. Dan Shapiro, oneg shabbat
chairman.
Participants will include Mar-
ion Levine, Mitchell Simmers,
Murray Gould, Lorraine Small,
Sheldon Kirsch, Sandra Gell-
man and the Youth Choir, di-
rected by Cantor Nicholas Fen-
akel.

An appeal has been issued to
Jewish school children by the
Jewish National Fund of Amer-
ica to make possible the plant-
ing of the Forest of the Un-
known Child in Israel as part of
the Martyrs' Forest now being
planted on the hills of Judea in
commemoration of the 6,000,000
Jews slain by Hitler.

Mrs. Morris Adler will con-
elude the book review series of
the Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood at
12:30 p.m., March 24, in the
synagogue social hall. A lunch-
eon will precede the program.
