Mr. and Mrs. Mark Howard, of Ohio Ave., have left on a motor
trip US Miami, Fla., from which city they will fly to the British
West Indies, Virgin Islands and Cuba and back to Miami. They
will remain there for several days before returning home next
' month.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Saulson, of Stratford Rd., are vacationing
at. Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Pledge June Hersh was recently initiated by Wayne Univer-
sity's Sigma Theta Delta sorority, at the home of Bernice Gach.
Preparations are now being made for rushing.
Recent arrivals for vacations in Miami Beach, Fla., ,include
the following Detroiters: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Grenadier, Mr. and
Mrs. Max Stollman, Mr. and .Mrs. Harry. Heiman, - Mr. and Mrs.
Jason Honigman, Mr. and Mrs.. Herman Cohen, Mr. and. Mrs.
Harry LeVine, Mr. and Mrs. M. Gilbert and Herman Gollantz.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Citron, of Oak Park, are vacationing in
Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank and daughter, Lynda, have just re-
turned to their home at 629 N. 42 St., Omaha, Neb., after spending
several Weeks with their mother, Mrs. Rae Solomon. Mrs. Frank
is the former Phyllis Solomon, of Detroit.
Mrs. Sally S. Held, of 15825 Northlawn, is vacationing in the
West. En route, she will visit her son, Cpl. Otto Held, who is
stationed with the U. S. Marine Corps at San Diego, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tyner, of Oakman Blvd., and Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Gould, of Roselawn Ave., are visitors at Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bernstein have returned from a six-week
vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Albert Zeitlin, of 2263 Monterey, will leave aboard the
Queen Mary on March 13, bound for Israel where she will visit
her son, Yitzhak, and his wife, the former Esther Levine.. The
children have been residing at Kibbutz .Gal-on, near the Negev,
since their arrival there over two years ago. Before arriving in
the new state, Mrs. Zeitlin will visit in Paris.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Belkin, of Oakman Blvd., have left
for Miami Beach, Fla. They will be joined there on about April 1
by their daughters, Madeline and Vivian.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Agranove, of Picadilly Ave., are staying
in Miami Beach, Fla., during February. Joining them there are
their daughters, Mrs. R. L. Wolfe, of Pontiac, and Mrs. Roy H.
Miller, of Patterson, N. J.‘
Miss Carolyn Ruth Schwartz, of Strathcona Dr., left last
week for Madison, Wis. where she will begin studies at the Uni-
versity of Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney M. Schott will celebrate their 30th wed-
•ding anniversary this Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Chadwick, of 2087 Ewald Circle, have
returned from a 10 day trip to New York.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Rosenzweig, of Griggs Ave., have left for
Miami Beach where they will spend the remainder of the winter
season.
Mrs. Fred Feigenson and children, Sharon and Albert, form-
erly of Edinborough Rd., will stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Sigmund Reifler, of Ardmore Ave., for about a month, before leav-
ing for San Diego, Calif. to join her husband, Lt. Fred Feigenson,
who is stationed there with the United States Navy Medical Corps.

and Mrs.. Frances Lipshaw, the
bridegroom's sister-in-law, was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Marilyn Gorosh and Jean-

The bridegroom's b r o the r,
George Lipshaw, was -best man,

The bride's gown was made of
old-fashioned lace and satin,
featuring an off-the-shoulder
yoke. Her .finger-tip veil fell
from a Juliet cap, and she car-
ried two white orchids and
stephanotis on a Bible.
Following a honeymoon to
California, the newly-weds are
residing on Sussex Ave., in Oak
