The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Winnick.
He is the son of the Alex Fried-
mans.
The bride chose a gown of an-
tique ivory satin and chantilly
lace, fashioned along princess
lines. The fitted bodice was dis-
tinguished by a portrait neck-
line and long lace sleeves. The
gown's full skirt swept into a
formal train, and panels of lace
fell from the waist to the floor.
Her small crown of matching
lace held a fingertip veil of silk
illusion.
Suzanne. Winnick, sister of the
bride, and Mrs. Laurence Fried-
man, sister-in-law of the bride-
groom, served as honor attend-
ants. Bridesmaids were M r s.
Arthur Schiff and Mrs. Jack
Shiffman.
Laurence Friedman was his
brother's best man, and ushers

Louis D. Brandeis Lodge will
present its Americanism award
to the Very Rev. Celestin J.
Steiner, president of the Uni-
versity of Detroit, at its sixth
annual Americanism Night at
8:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Beth
Moses Synagogue.
Included on the program, it
was announced by Harry N.
Katz and Benjami4 R. Berkley,
co-chairmen, will be the Briggs
Management Glee Club, direc-
ted by Prudence Butterfield.
The award to Fr. Steiner is
for his contribution to further-
ing inter-racial relations in
the community and at U. of D.,
according to Louis Garber,
Lodge president.
