Woods, became the bride of
Bernard Rosner, son of Mr. and
Mrs. David Rosner, of Indiana
Ave. Rabbi Minard Klein of-
ficiated.
The bride wore her sister's
gown of gardenia white satin,
combined with imported chan-
tilly lace. It was distinguished
by a deep oval neckline and low
bodice with-, long fitted sleeves.
The very full satin 'skirt fell
from a fitted hipline and Swept
into a Cathedral train.
Her fingertip veil of silk 'illu-
sion was .held in place • by a close
fitting cap of matching chan-
tilly lace with scalloped edges
entwined with seed pearls, .and
she carried French camellias and
ivy, centered with a white or-
chid on a Bible. -
Mrs. -Frederic Lewis . Marble-
stone, her sister, was matron-of-
honor, and „Judy Mayer flew
here from Colby College in
Waterville, Me., to be maid-of-
honor.
The bridegroom's twin broth-
er, Joel Rosner, was best Man.,
and usher s inciuded Theodore
J. Ehrlich, Edward Mentzel and
Frederic L. Marblestone
- The young couple are - honey-
moaning in Chicago, Ill.

The appointment of' W. B.
DONER & CO. as their advertis-
ing counsel was announced - this
week by Donald S. Rogers, presi-
dent of Winter-Seal Corp., De-
troit, manufacturers of alumi-
num storm windows, and Norman
Schwartz, president, D. W. G.
Cigar Co., Detroit, makers of
R. G. Dun cigars.

Toledo and now of Detroit, and
the late Mr. Sharfman, became
the bride of Sheldon HoWard
Edelstein, son, of the Max Edel-
steins, of Pittsburgh, Pa. The
ceremony was solemnized by Dr.
Irving M. Levey, of Princeton,-
N.' J. at the Webster Hall Hotel
in Pittsburgh.
The bride wore an ankle-
length gown of eggshell taffeta,
with matching cap and veil, and
carried white camellias on a
white Bible.
Miss Jo Hefter, of Glencoe,
Ill., and Miss Baraba Silverblatt,
of Toledo, 'were the bride's at-
tendants. Edwin Edelstein, the
bridegroom's brother was best
man. Ushers were Martin Ham-
burger, Marcus Aaron II and
Sidney Stark, Jr., all of Pitts-
burgh, and Ernst Lkebman, of
Glencoe, Ill.
The - bride is a graduate of
Maumee Valley Country Day
School, and is a student at Sarah
Lawrence College. The bride-
groom is a Princeton University
graduate. He was affiliated
there with Phi Beta Kappa and
Prospect Club. He holds a mas-
ter's degree from Harvard Uni-
versity, where he was a Wood-
row Wilson Fellow and also a
Teaching Fellow. He currently
is serving with the U. S. Army
at Monterey, Calif.

For the first time in its his-
tory, Mumford High School has
a graduating class. During the
weekend of Jan. 24-25, the grad-
uates went on a snow trip to
East Tawas, Mich. Though all
had to meet at Mumford at 4:30
a.m., a wonderful time was had
by a11.
All this week tryouts for the
first school play, "The Man Who
Came to Dinner," were held.
Because Mumford's auditorium
is not expected to be completed
this term, plans are being made
to give the play at Pershing
High School. The play will be
presented to the public March
26-27, with one cast for both
nights. . -
Ten Cpuncilettes modeled in a
program •presented by the Worn-
en's Division of the Jewish - Wel-
fare Federation at Temple Is-
rael, Jan. 28. The following girls
modeled : Sharon Benson, Nan-
cy Blanke, Lois Gavorin, Judy
Jacobs, Lois Manheim, Judy Op-
penheim, Joan Schneider, Lor-
raine Small, Valerie Spector and
Nancy Schwartz.
Each year, the. Michigan So-.
ciety of the Daughters of the
American Revolution pick, from
every high school, someone to
represent good citizenship. Judy
Jacobs, 12B, was ehosen from

Mumford.

Central lost twice to Chadsey
in home games Jan. 27. The re-
serves were defeated 42-35. In
the .Varsity game, Central lost
to Chadsey 55-44.
Editors of the Central Student
this year are: Editor in chief,
Elaine Madorsky; first page, Di-
ane Yourofsky; second page,
Bea Balaban and Lenore Weiss;
third page, Felicia Rosenthal;
fourth page, -Mark Milgram. and
Art Golumbia; exchange editor,
Barbara Samuels. The paper is
