as a criterion for accreditation
and rating of colleges was
adopted' at a two-day confer-
ence on discrimination in .edu-.

cation attended by about 300
educators representing 100 edu-
cational institutions in seven
mid-western states.
The conference, which was ar-
ranged in cooperation with the
Anti-Defamation League of Bnai
Brith, also resolved other ways
of fighting campus prejudice. •

$250,000 Charity Fund

tablishment of a family founda-
tion to distribute $250,000 to var-
ious Jewish, Catholic and Pro-
testant causes by the end of 1953
was announced here.
The fund, known as the Bruk-
enfeld Family Foundation, was
established to mark the golden
wedding anniversary of the ben-
efactors, - Morris and - Sarah
Brukenfeld. Among the recipient
