the resort areas, after an address
by Julius Bernstein, Jewish
Labor Committee representative

Boston Labor Committee to

Both conventions called upon
their legislative directors to push

NEW YORK—Rep. Emanuel
Celler has been elected chair-
man of the board of directors
of the American Red Mogen
Dovid for Israel, an organiza-
tion he served in a like capacity
in 1948, when Israel was fight-
ing for independence against
Arab invaders. Rep. Celler cited
the emergency in the new state
as his reason for accepting the
post he held three years ago.
