Idaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selig
Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Weiner of W. Seven Mile Rd. honored
their daughter, Barbara Renee, with a Sweet Sixteen Luncheon
at the Sheraton Cadillac hotel for 31 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Rosin recently celebrated their 40th
wedding anniversary, at a party given by their friends and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Heller and daughters, former Detroiters,
have returned to their home in Chicago, following visits with rela-
tives and friends in Detroit, Flint and Toledo.
Miss Corrine Dorb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Dorb. of
Cherrylawn Ave., was feted at several going away parties before
leaving for Columbus, 0., where she will resume studies • at Ohio
State University.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Z. Hirschman, of Fullerton Ave., were recent
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred A. Helfgott, at their home in West
Hartford, Conn. They also visited in New York City before return-
ing home.
Miss Lue Helfgott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred A. Helfgott,
former Detroiters, now of West Hartford, Conn., has resumed her
studies at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Israel J. Kunin, of 2659 Webb, has joined Mrs. Kunin and
,children in Los Angeles, Calif., where they are visiting Dr. and
Mrs. Henry Sultan and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Small. Dr. Kunin re-
cently completed studies at Indianapolis General Hospital, and
successfully passed the Michigan Specialty Board in Oral Surgery.
The Kunins will return to Detroit shortly.
Mrs. Betty Baker and daughter, Karen Mae, have given up
their home on Cortland Ave., and moved to Miami Beach for the
winter months.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Fellman and Mrs. Arthur Abramovitz have
returned from a trip to New York and Bermuda.
A surprise party honoring Sally Katz on her 18th birthday
was given by her mother, Mrs. Mary Katz and Esther Lubarsky.
- Mrs. S. J. Berlin, her daughterS, Mrs. David Kliger, of 18438
Hartwell, and Mrs. George Koven with,,her daughter, Arlyne, of
2925 Oakman Ct., have returned from a ten-day stay in Monitreal.
Also in the city were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Berlin and children, Bill I
and Eleanor, of 19334 Santa Rosa. Besides visiting relatives and
friends, all the Detroiters attended the wedding of their niece I
and cousin, Ellen Berlin, to Dr. Morris Sabin.
Judy Michaelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin I. Michael-
son, of Fairfield Ave., has left for Columbus, 0. where she will be- -
gin studies at Ohio State University.

PERLMUTTER-LUKACH: The
I marriage of Ellen Marie Lukach
and Edwin Lee Perlmutter was
solemnized on Sept. 14, in New
York City. The bride is_ the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
S. Lukach, of New York. The
bridegroom's parents are the
Jacob Perlmutters, of Detroit.
The bride wore a cream col-
ored taffeta gown, with off-the-
shoulder neckline featured with
rose pointe lace. A lace veil,
worn by the bride's great aunt,
covered the gown.
Ann Lukach, sister of the
bride, and Mrs. Seymour Jones,
sister of the bridegroom, were
her attendants. Seymour Jones
was best man, and ushers in-
cluded Arthur J. Lukach, Jr.,
Kaye Goodwin Frank and Theo-
dore R. Kelter, Jr.
Detroit guests were the Louis
Robinsons, Charles Robinsons,
