Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gotlib of Flint visited her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Tobin of Merton Rd. for the Passover holiday.
Mr-; and Mrs. Herbert Silman returned from a wedding trip,
and they are now residing on Whitmore Rd.
Miss Ruth Levitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Levitt of Outer
Dr., and Miss. Ruth Chodoroff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Chodoroff of Oakman Blvd., returned from a two week vacation
in Miami Beach.
Miss- Leah Crohn and her brother, Harris Crohn, returned
to New York, where they will continue their music studies, after
a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Crohn of Wilde-,
mere Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tobin moved from Webb Ave., and are
residing at 980 Whitmore Rd.
Hyman Lewin-Epstein of Brobklyn, N. Y., spent a few days
with his stster/and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Herihinan
of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kemper of Votrobeck Dr., Visited in
Chicago this past week-end.
Mr. and Mrs. David Hubar of York Rd., Huntington Woods,
returned from a winter in Miami Beach.
Mrs. John Imerman of Gloucester Dr., is back from Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Marv/ill of Pennington Dr., are expected
back from Miami Beach this week.
Miss Mary Judith Kallet, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Herbert
Kallet of Muirland Ave., returned to her studies in Ann Arbor
after visiting friends in Tennessee for her spring vacation.
Mr. and! Mrs. Herman H. Stark salt April 25 on the new Am-
sterdam for'a several months' tour of the continent.
Robert D. Cogan, a graduate of the University of Michigan
School of Music, is the recipient of the Fulbright Award given him
by the United States government. He will continue his studies in
music composition at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium.
His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cogan, 945 Lakepointe, Grosse
Pointe.'
Mr. and Mrs. 'David Taylor, of 18071 Woodingham, have re-
turned from a six-week stay in Miami Beach, Fla. They were ac-
companied by their son, Edward, daughter, Florence and a grand-
son, Leslie.
Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Schram and sons. Stuart and Calvin.
of 17171 Prairie, have returned from a three-week stay in Miami
Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul H. Rose. formerly of Boston Blvd., have
moved into their new home at 1701 Balmoral Dr.
Daniel L. Tickton is visiting with his children in Washington,
D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Brose honored their daughter. Rozzie, with
a luncheon at the Statler on the occasion of her 16th birthda y .
Out-of-town relatives, in addition to Rozzie's friends, included
Dee Pacernick and Mrs. Joe Pacernick of Flint.
Mr. and Mrs. Jose Winsen have returned from a week's stay
in Chicago where Mr. Winsen attended the 17th annual conclave
of the American Gem Society.
The Northwest Unit Michigan Chapter of the Minute Women
of the U. S. A., Inc. was organized at the home of Mrs. Sidney E.
Chapin. 20050 Renfrew Rd.

Wayne Artists Show

To Open at Jewish
Center on May 12

T h e art committee of the
Jewish Community Center an-
nounces the third annual
Wayne County Artists Show, to
be held beginning May 12. Mrs.
Arthur Bloom, chairman, in-
vites all county artists to sub-
mit entries in oil, watercolor,
or sculpture. Two pictures by
each artist will be accepted for
judging and several prizes will
be awarded. •
The committee stipulates that!
all drawings, prints. oils.. and I
water colors must be framed ;
and limited in size to a maxi-
mum of 24 by 36 inches. The
deadline for acceptance of en-;
tries is Thursday, April 30. Pic-I
tures must be delivered to the
Jewish Center, Woodward and
Holbrook.
Because of the expected popu-
larity of this show and limita-
tion of space, the committee can
only accept the first 300 entries.
