MRS. HERMAN BREGMAN

Home for Ag e d, lay dormant,
unable to master the intricate
maneuverings necessary to play
the violin.
Shuman, a graduate of the
Warsaw Conservatory, felt the
loss accutely. But. so did the
many residents of the Home, for
whom he used to play.
Through the encouragement
of Mrs. Herman Bregman, a pi-
anist and member of the Home
for Aged .Women's Auxiliary, and
through case work and therapy,
Shuman will play again.
The numbness - which plagued
his hand has disappeared and so
has the gloom which clouded
Shuman's life for -those 16 years.
The talented violinist is now
practicing every day for a pro-
gram of the Auxiliary at 1 p.m..
Monday, at the Davison Jewish
Center. He will be accompanied
in his program by Mrs. Breg-
man.
Also to be featured at the
Auxiliary meeting will be a
movie. "Life at the Horne - and
an election „of. officers. An in-
stallation affair . is scheduled for
May 19. at the Bel-Aire Terrace.
