tioning in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Spevakow and daughter, Marcia, of
Renfrew Road have left for visits in New York and Boston.
Yale Levin of Santa Rosa Drive returned from a stay in
Tucsori, Ariz.
Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Shumer of West Outer Drive are in Miami
Beach for a stay.
Mr. and Mrs. William Appel are expected back in their Calvert
Ave. residence this week after a trip to the west coast.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Levin of Sturtevant Ave. spent the week
in San Antonio to visit their son stationed with the Air Corps,
and will visit Mexico City before returning home.
Mrs. Lee Cole has returned to her home on Longwood after
a stay at St. Joseph, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Posen of Clements Ave. were hosts to
the latter's brother, Herbert Winneg of Brockton, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Cohn of Tracy Ave. were among recent
vacationers at Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Shacket of Roselawn Ave. have left for
a stay in Arizona.
Pfc. Norman Sinaberg of Carswell Air Base, Fort Worth, Tex.,
is spending a week's furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe
Sinaberg of Ilene Ave.
Weather permitting, frequent week-enders in Northern Michi-
ga.n to enjoy the skiing are Herbert Schreiber and his brother, Ed,
of San Juan Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Brown of Lincolnshire Drive are enjoying
a stay in Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. David Hubar of York Road expect to leave this

At a recent meeting of Epsilon Chapter of Tau Epsilon Rho,
international legal fraternity, Robert S. Ernstein, of 18468 Pen-
nington, was elected chancellor. He will hold this office at the
University of Michigan Law School until 1953. Ernstein was also
elected a supreme counsellor of the international fraternity at its
recent convention in Albany, N. Y. Ernstein is in his junior year
at the U. of M. Law School.
Mrs. Joseph Anstandig, of Birwood Ave. ,and daughter, Doris,
have just returned from a month's vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.

Temple foyer.
