Tonight is the big night for a
few of Central's many talents,
headed by emcees Harvey Jas-
love and Wally Handler. "Show
Time," this year's variety show,
will be followed by a dance, pro-
ceeds to go toward the newly-
f o r m e d Silverstein Memorial
Fund.
The Central Chorus gave a
program of seasonal music over
WXYZ last Tuesday. Solo voices
were Albert Kee, Gil Kohn, Ferah
Pearlman, Arlene Rosenberg and
Grace Ashby, accompanied by
Tom Kreger.
The Senior Class is looking
forward to its annual trip, this
year to Grayling, Mich. Sched-
uled for Jan. 11, the 12As are
awaiting a week-end of ice-skat-
ing, tobogganing and skiing.

and his friend and co-organizer,
Emory Geisz, organized the
group of youngsters, named
them Trailblazers, and joined
the Michigan Youth Soccer
League.
Central emerged victorious in
last Friday's basketball game,
beating U. of D., 55-42. High
scorers were Ralph Goldstein
with 15 points and Elliot Rott
with 10 points.
