days' visit with daughter, Joyce, in Washington, D. C.

They are establishing residence there.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ruskin have returned to their home in
Chicago after a brief visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred

Mrs. Arthur Bloom, of Gloucester Road, is spending a fort-
night in New York City.
Dr. and Mrs. Maurice Meyers, of Wildemere Ave., were hosts
the past week to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glueck of Gary; Ind.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Siden, of La Salle Blvd., have returned
from a visit with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
I_rving Siden, of Chicago,. Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Selesko, of Santa Barbara Drive, have as
house guests, their mother Mrs. Joseph Levy, and aunt, Miss Lil-
lian Federlin, of New York.

Pfc. Alan S. Gold spent the High Holy Days at home with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gold, of Princeton Ave. Alan was re-
cently elected to the Board of Governors at Scott Field Air Base
in Belleville, Ill., where he is stationed.
Samuel Polak has returned to his home in Brussels, Belgium,
after spending the summer with his children, Mr. and Mrs: David
B. Levin.
Detroit Alumnae of Iota Alpha Pi Sorority celebrated its 49th
anniversary with a Founders' Day tea Oct. 12, at the home of Mrs.
Ruth Levitt, 12652 Stoepel. Guests included active members of Nu
Chapter of Wayne University. The social chairman was Mrs. Enid
Cherniak. Guest speaker was the national chancellor, Mrs. Muriel
Goodman, who was introduced by the Detroit chancellor, Mrs.
Frances Perlin.
Mrs. Ray Leichtling entertained her landsleit from Dabrowa
at a cocktail party held recently on the veranda of her Oakrnan
Blvd. home.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Potiker have returned from a three-month
tour which took them to Israel, Italy, Switzerland, France and
England.
