Sarah Simons Wed
To Seymour Lampert
In the oak-paneled English

with Seymour Robert Lampert,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Lam-
pert. of Sturtevant Ave. Rabbi
Morris Adler officiated.
For her marriage the bride
chose a gown of candlelight sat-
in and imported pointe d'Venice
lace with a closely fitting
bodice and long fitted sleeves
with points at the wrists. The
gown was distinguished by a
unique applique of lace forming
a panel extending from both
shoulders to the hemline. The
full hooped skirt terminated in
a graceful train.
Her double-tiered illusion veil
of fingertip length was secured
to her head by a small scallop
of matching lace over satin, with
the lace embellished by tiny seed
pearls taken from her mother's
wedding gown.
A handkerchief she carried
Was first worn by her grand-
mother, then her mother, and
only last month by her sister.
She carried a cascading bouquet
of anthurums designed with cro-
ton leaves.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Charles
E. Schwartz, was matron of hon-
or, and her brother, Ruthven
Simons escorted his sister to the
altar. Mr. Lampert was served
by his brother, Charles E. Lam-
pert, as best man. Bernard
Gour,v-itz, Dr. Irving Levitt and
Sol Kaplan, all cousins of the
bridegroom, were ushers. Mrs.
Nathan Simons, aunt of the
bride, was hostess at the re-
ception which followed.
The young couple left for a
wedding trip in the East where
they will make their home
thereafter.
