NEW YORK, (JTA) —Dr. Ralph
P. Rosenberg, associate profes-
sor of German at Yeshivah Uni-
versity, has been granted a
year's leave of absence to pur-
sue a Ford Foundation fellow-
ship in the humanities.

The medical faculty of the
Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
has been invited to send a dele-
gation to the International Con-
gress of clinical students which
is to meet in Holland this year.

The young wife of a Bayonne,

N. J . , veteran became the mother

of quads, three of whom pre-
pared this week to celebrate
their first Jewish New Year.
In the political field, a Jew-
ish mother became the first
woman mayor of Red Bank,
N. H., and the first Jewish wo-
man in the United States to
hold that post. No complaints
yet about her handling of the
job and none expected;
