Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Enggass, of Cumberland Way, have re-
turned from an eight week stay in Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. William H. Frank, daughter, Ann, and son, Will-
iam, of Wildemere Ave., left for a two-week motor tour through
the East.
Miss Marcia Ermann, of Merton Rd., and niece, Claire Ull-
man, of Cincinnati, 0., have returned from a Saguenay River
cruise. Miss Ullman will remain here for a time to visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horowitz, of Warrington Rd., spent a
fortnight in Canada where they visited members of their family.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Laikan and daughters, Judith and
Shulamith, of La Salle Blvd., left Monday for Baltimore where
they will visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Wilkens.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sachs, of Merton Rd., returned from
Tawas, Mich. where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green-
berg at their summer home.
Miss Ruth Hershman, of New York, is spending a fortnight
with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman, of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lieberman, of Birchcrest Dr., left for a
stay in Ludington, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Armin Hartman and daughter, Mary Katherine,
returned from a fortnight in Frankfort, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Schwartz, of New York, were in Detroit
recently where they visited Mrs. Schwartz' parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Nate Shapero, at their Northville summer home, and Mr. Sch-
wartz' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Schwartz, of Birchcrest Dr.

returned from a vacation through northern Canada.

from New York where they were guests at the Sherry-Netherlands
Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. L. Rosen, of Glynn Ct., recently flew to a con-
vention in Minneapolis.
Mrs. F. Bloomberg, of Strathcona Dr., spent two weeks at
Grossinger's in the Catskill's, New York.
Mrs. Sidney Auerbuch, daughter, Ellen, and son, Howard, have
returned frOm their summer stay at Charlevoix.

Adas Shalom to Resume
Religious School Classes
The opening session of the
Adas Shalom religious school
is scheduled for Sunday, Sept.
9. Two sessions with ' , parallel
classes will be held from 9:15
to 11 a.m. and from 11:15 a.m. to
1 p.m.
Registration notices are ac

1 to 5 p.m. on week days only.

Famed Violinist Weds
TEL AVIV, (JTA)—A two-
week romance culminated this
week in the marriage here of
Isaac Stern, famed New York
concert violinist and Miss Vera
Lindenbilt, f o r me r l y of New
York, who recently settled in
Israel. Mr. Stern, 30, has com-
pleted a series of concerts with
the Israel Philharmonic Orches-
tra. The bride, 24, lived for
many years in the same house
in New York as Mr. Stern's ac-
companist, but they met for the
first time two weeks ago in this
city.
