ITS GOTTEN TO the point
where downtown lots are doing
the motorist a "big favor" to
park their cars . . . We can re-
member, and it wasn't so very
long ago, when parking lot at-
tendants practically begged the
motorist to use their accommo-
dations . . If the present situ-
ation continues much longer, the
attendant will be asking to see
a person's credentials or Dunn
and Bradstreet rating before
parking his car!
NO SMALL AMOUNT of credit
goes to the Detroit Police Dept.

to give the motorist many a
break during the conditions that
prevail ... Without the excellent
work of local gendarmes, traffic
snarls and inconveniences would
be unparalleled in history.

HYPOCHONDRIACS SHOULD
never go to medical lectures, ac-
cording to Dr. Milton W. White
. . . because, invariably, they be-
come afflicted with symptoms of
any disease they hear about . . . .
One such man, having returned
from a lecture on diseases of the
kidney, immediately called Doc-
tor White . . . who attempted to
explain that in that particular
disease there are no pains or
discomfort of any kind . . . "I
knew it," gasped the hypochond-
riac. "My symptoms exactly."
