Set Aug. 14 As Date For
World Zionist Congress
JERUSALEM, (JTA) — Eliahu
Dobkin, head of the organiza-
tion department of the Jewish
Agency executive, told a press
conference that he has been
empowered by the World Zionist
executive to announce' that the
forthcoming World Zionist Con-
gress • will open in Jerusalem on
Aug. 14.
Mr. Dobkin reported that elec-
tions of delegates to the Con-
gress have already taken place
in more than 40 countries. In
Israel the elections will be held
on June 30. About 1,900,000
shekolim, giving each purchas-
er the right to vote in the elec-
tions, have been sold and 495
delegates will be elected. This
includes 210 delegates from
Israel who will be elected by
665,000 voters.
The Congress will discuss the
desirability of issuing a Jerusa-
lem Proclamation to replace the
Basle Proclamation — issued by
the First World Zionist Congress
in Basle in 1897—in view of the
fact that the aim of the Basle
Proclamation, the establishment
of • a Jewish state, has been
achieved. It will also discuss
the question of broadening the
Jewish Agency, Mr. Dobkin said.

Rather astonishing results in contour correction and im-
proved skin appearance have been reported with a treatment
which has undergone numerous tests. Just as important as
the product used; which is a blend of rare oils and astrin-
gents, is the manner in which it must be applied, which
above sketches indicate. Requires ten minutes daily.
Fresher Skin Claimed

Firmer, fresher, finer,

they say have all been
substantiated by their lab-
oratory chemists with the
unique astringent and oil
blend, which contains no
hormones.
What apparently looks
like a small atom bomb to
the field of facial treat-
ment has been released
locally.
Among the long list of
rather astonishing claims
made for - the treatment are
statements that it will help
flatten little puffs that
form on jaw lines, help re-
duce double chins, help
smooth out lines from
mouth-to-nose, and help
improve sagging muscles.
The blend must be used
according to very specific
instructions, some idea of
which may be gained from
the accompaning sketches.
A little pamphlet outlining
the method in detail is
enclosed with each bottle.
And although it sounds
almost as though it should
fall in the "too-good-to-
be-true" classification, it
has been launched by a
well-known cosmetic house
which is noted for under-
statement in claims for its
products.
They have found that
results begin to show up
inside one week, when the
treatment is followed to
the letter and faithfully,
and that "the effect with-
in three weeks is usually
startling." And that "con-
tinued daily treatments
will continue to maintain
and improve appearance."

tion of the blend of rare
oils and astringents ac-
cording to a special meth-
od which has been devised.
The treatment has, for
the past year, been under-
going rigid testing on skins
which had chronic under-
skin eruptions, on com-
plexions which looked slug-
gish and thick, and on
those who had distinct
contour faults.
And it has been reported
that under-skin eruptions
cleared in a short time;
that sluggish skins had an
awakened quality; t h a t
corrections such as
smoothing out of ',mouth-
to-nose lines, flattening of
little puffs that form on
jaw lines, reduction of
double chins, and a more
perfect general alignment
of facial contours resulted.

Years Declared Pared
Comment of a successful

tested the treatment for

really look ten years
younger, and in such a
short time, too."
