Mr. and Mrs. Norman Naimark of Littlefield St. returned from
an extendfd stay in Columbia, S. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Enggass, of Cumberland Way, will sail
to Europe aboard the S.S. Liberty on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Morton Zuckerman have returned to their home
on Lauder Ave. after spending several weeks in London and Paris.
They returned on the Nieuw Amsterdam.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kaufer, of Cortland Ave., and Mr. and Mrs.
Philip Kaufer, of Northlawn Ave., flew to Mexico City to attend
the Bar Mitzvah of their nephew, Nicolas Kaufer.
Retiring and new board members of the National Council of
Jewish Women were honored at a tea given by retiring president
Mrs. Lewis B. Daniels; Mrs. Herschel V. Kreger, assistant to the
president; and Mrs. Emil Rothman, incoming head, on May 17, in
Mrs. Daniels' home on Warrington Dr. Mrs. Maurice Klein and
Mrs. Joseph B. Gaylord assisted at the tea table.
Mrs. Oscar Greenberg and her daughter Peggy Gassel of Fair-
field avenue, have just returned from vacationing in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gilbert of Littlefield Ave. have returned
from a vacation in Bermuda.
Mrs. Sidney Solomon of Picadilly Ave. has been entertaining
as house guest, her sister from New York. Mr. Solomon returned
this week from a fortnight's flight to London and Paris.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stamler have returned to their Muirland
Ave. abode after a four months' stay in Miami Beach. En route
home, they detoured for a visit with son, Jack, in B&ltimore and
daughter, Susan, in Boston. A week in New York City concluded
the holiday.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weinberg of Wildemere Ave. are spending
the week in Chicago and Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. George. Bremen of Birchcrest • Drive were in
Toledo last week end to attend a Bar Mitzvah in the family.
After enjoying the winter months in their Florida home, Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Rott have returned to their Fairfield Ave. resi-
dence.
Mr. and Mrs. caul Katz of Fairfield Ave. returned from a win-
ter's vacation in Cuba and Florida, and then were off again for
just a fortnight. Mrs. Katz visited with her daughter in Colum-
bus, 0., and Mr. Katz flew to Paris for a reunion with his brother.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Knoppow of Fullerton Ave. have as
house guests, their sister and niece, Mrs. Abe Knoppow and Su-
zanne, of Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen Benyas have taken up their resi-
dence at 20431 Cheyenne Ave.
Dr. and Mrs. John Mossman of Warrington Drive were hosts
the past week to' the latter's sister, Mrs. Irwin Lyons of Hamilton,
Ontario.
Miss Sadie Weinstein has returned to her home an Calvert
Ave. after spending the winter in Miami Beach, as the house guest
of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lansky of Chicago, Ill.

Department of Michigan Jew-
ish W a r Veterans, which
launched its annual poppy dive
Thursday, will continue to sell
poppies today, announced De-
partment chairman, Sol Haber-
man. Funds help in the rehabili-
tation and care of hospitalized
veterans and their families.
The goal of the JWV is 45,000
.poppies, to meet the rising toll
of Korean casualties. The poppy
program is non-sectarian.
