Punxy Gerson Dies

Gerson, died suddenly of a heart
attack in Van Nuys, Calif., last
Sunday. He was 57 years old.
Mr. Gerson is survived by his
wife, Honore; daughter, Joan
of Van Nuys; and by Harry and
Samuel Gerson of Detroit and
Mrs. Ben Kaufmann of Holly-
wood, Fla. He was a brother of
the late Joseph; Myer, and Mrs.
Dora Levy, all of Detroit.
Mr. Gerson was born in Detroit
and lived here, engaging in the
retail jewelry business, until
about eight years ago. At the
time of his death, he was the
owner of a jewelry store in Van
Nuys. He had worked the day
before his fatal attack.
