Cadillac. Detroit's founder, was
granted large tracts of land by
the King of France, and the
King virtually guaranteed his
holdings under the French Flag.

Today. 250 years later, these and other lands in Detroit
have been divided into hundreds of thousands of individual
lots, and have passed through many hands to their present
owners: but —

Modern Title Insurance is much better protection than
Cadillac enjoyed. With a title policy, you get a guarantee to
repay the full value of the property if there is ever a
successful challenge to your ownership, and your rights
will be defended in the courts without cost to you

It's smart to ask for Title Insurance when you buy a piece
of real estate, and it's smart to get that protection from
Michigan's oldest title company— •
