MRS. MAERIT B. KALLET

spoke their marriage vows
March 3. The bride, the former
Rhoda Wiencrot, is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wien-
crot of Stamford, Conn. The
bridegroom is the son of Dr.
and Mrs. Herbert Kallet, of
Muirland Ave.
Rabbi B. Benedict Glazer per-
formed the double ring cere-
mony under a bower of green
foliage and white gladolas in
the English Room of the Statler
Hotel. Following the ceremony,
Mr. and Mrs. Wiencrot enter-
tained at a wedding dinner.
For her wedding the bride
chose a white, floor length
gown, with a voluminous skirt of
fine nylon tulle. A delicately
shirred yoke was set in a closely
fitted bodice of imported Alen-
con lace. Softly draped sleeves
formed points at the wrist.
Her three tiered veil of fin-
ger-tip length fell from a
matching lace cap and she car-
ried a Bible with a corsage of
white orchids.
Attending the bride was her
sister, Bernice, as maid of hon-
or, with Mary Judith Kallet,
sister of the bridegroom as
bridesmaid. The groom was at-
tended by Dr. Ned Chalat, as
best man. Ushers were Dr. James
Bittker and Warren Weil.
