BBY 0 Dramatists
Celebrate Birthday
The Bnai Brith Youth Organ-
ization Drama Players will cele-
'brate their first birthday on
Wednesday, by presenting a pro-
gram at 8:30 p.m. at Cong. Bnai
Moshe for the Rabbi'Mandel M.
Zager, George Gershwin a n d
Rex Lodges.
The anniversary brings to
mind why the group was formed.
Originally the idea was con-
ceived to organize a dramatic
group composed of all the youth
groups, and to present shows to
the Bnai Brith chapters and
lodges in the city.
Through the medium of dra-
matic presentations the adults
are able to have a better under-
standing of youth and their de-
velopment in becoming emotion-
ally and intellectually secure as
_rJewish adults.
Last year the group perform-
ed before twenty-one chapters
and lodges. By the end of this
year the group will have com-
pleted the circuit.
There are
35 active
members in the group. Those
who have been with the group
since its inception include Pat
Turner, Joan Steinberg, R.ona
Weingarten, Sandra Haberman,
Rosalie Mandell, Morton Freed
and Stanley Delidow. The group
is directed by Helene Le Ban
and Pearl Haberman.
