gown of Chantilly lace with
matching Juliet cap and shoul-
der-length veil of illusion, ear-
ried a bouquet of white orchids
and English ivy. She was at-
tended by her sister Carol as
maid-of-honor. Morton Jacobs
served his . brother-in-law as
best man.
Mr. and Mrs. Rothstein left
for a New York honeymoon:and
will return to Boston to live un-
til June, when Mr. Rothstein
will graduate from the Harvard
Law School.

biennial convention of National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods
last week, and while in Cleveland entertained guests in honor .9f
their 25th wedding anniversary.
Miss Mary Glazer, who is a student at Northwestern Univer-
sity, spent last week-end in Ann Arbor to attend the Michigan-
Northwestern football game, and in Detroit visiting her parents,
the Louis Glazers of Birchcrest Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gray with their daughter Joan and son
Mickey flew to Miami Beach, Fla., this week to live there for six
or seven months. They are guests at the 'Belaire Hotel. Prior to
her departure, Joan entertained a group' of friends at her home
on Pennington Drive last Sunday afternoon.
While attending the biennial convention of National Federa-
tion of Temple Sisterhoods in Cleveland last week, Mrs. Samuel,
B. Danto of Detroit and Mit. Harvey Steadman of Lansing were
hostesses to the Michigan delegates at a cocktail party.
Mrs. Louis Sycle of Washington, D. C., visited friends and
relatives in the city for several days last week.
Mr. and Mrs. William Frank of Wildemere. Ave. are spending
the week-end in. Columbus, 0., to attend the Michigan-Ohio State
football game. While there they are the house-guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Abe Weinfeld.

spending the Thanksgiving holiday in New York City.

limbs," the Kupat Holim has
affixed a plaque honoring the
Detroit Women's Auxiliary of
the Maimonides Medical Society,
to- the orthopedic . section of
their new hospital.
Moshe Rabinowitz, director of
the Kupat Holim, in Tel. Aviv,
wrote in a letter to the Maimo-
nides Women: "I can hardly -find
suitable words to express how
much your help means to all of
us. Thanks to your excellent
efforts, we will eventually be
able to erase the ugliness of
need, fear and want from our
young and budding country."
