Kurt Saffir and Esther Glazer
In Music Study Concert Nov. 30
Miss Esther Glazer, violinist,
and Kurt Saffir, pianist, both of
whom have made their mark in
their fields, will be presented in
the annual Music Study Club
MISS ESTHER GLAZER
granted jointly by the Music
Study club and the Jewish Com-
munity Center. When the late
Olga Samaroff visited Detroit
about four years ago, Kurt Saf-
fir was heard by the famous
pedagogue and was immediately
accepted as her pupil. Later he
studied with Rosilin Turek at
Julliard School. Last summer
he was awarded a scholarship
by the Berkshire Music Center
and spent the summer as pianist
and coach in their Opera De-
partment.
- At Tanglewood these two
young artists planned the pro-
gram for their concert in De-
troit on Nov. 30.
Miss Rebecca Fineberg of this
city will be Miss Glazer's accom-
panist.
