Mix cornstarch in two tablespoons of
cold water until smooth. Add to the well
beaten eggs, milk and salt. Heat small
size frying pan and grease it well with
butter. Pour enough batter into the pan
to make a proper thin pancake. Fry on
one side to a light golden brown. Shake
out of pan onto a wooden board, baked
side up.
Place round teaspoon of cheese filling
in the center of each pancake. Roll into
tiny package. Fry side by side in buttered
pan.
Israel Scholars Arrive
For Leiden Congress
AMSTERDAM — (JTA) — Dr.
I. L. Seeligmann, a lecturer at
the Hebrew University of Jeru-
salem, arrived here to partici-
pate in the Leiden Congress on
the History of Religions. Prof.
Gerhard Sholem of the Hebrew
University is also attending the
Congress.
Dr. Seeligmann will also par-
ticipate in a conference on the
history of the Second World
War which will be held here
Sept. 5-9, under auspices of the
Netherlands State Institute for
War Documentation.
The conference will set up a
special subcommittee dealing
with the resistance movements,
concentration camps and de-
portations. It will hear reports
on the Center of Jewish Con-
t e m p o racy Documentation in
Paris and on the activities of
the Center of Polish Jewish
Contemporary Documentation.
