Charlevoix, where she has spent the summer season.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shroder of Cranbrook Road have returned
from a 10-day trip through Ontario.
Miss Edith Heavenrich of Virginia Park has returned from a
visit with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Heavenrich, in Milwaukee.
Mrs. Benjamin Piser of Chicago is in Detroit visiting Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Clamage of Lodge Drive. •
Elliot Moyer of Washington, D. C., visited with his mother,
Mrs. Dora Moyer, and his sister, Miss - Marian Moyer, of W. Boston
BlVd., this week, before joining his family at Rondeau Park, On-
tario, where they spent the summer months.
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Marks of W. Outer rive drove to northern
Wisconsin last week to visit Camp Kawaga and return with their
son Lee at the close of the camp season this week.
Mrs. Lena Neiman of Chicago is the guest of her son and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Neiman of Third Ave.
Mr. - and Mrs. Joel D. Rosenblum and their daughter, Joyce,
and son, Gordon, formerly of Denver, Colo., have moved to Detroit
and are residing in their new home at 19265 Canterbury Road.
Mrs. Leon Schembeck of Monte Vista Ave., and Mrs. Albert
Schiller of Washburn Ave., are visiting in Tulsa, Okla., upon the
occasion of the Bar .Mitzvah of their grandson, Richard D. Schil-
ler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Schiller of Tulsa.
Mrs. Leonard Kramer of New York City has returned to her
home there after having spent a week in Detroit visiting family
and friends. Mrs. Kramer and her mother, Mrs. Julius V. Brown
of Lincolnshire Drive, spent a month in Charlevoix.
Mrs. Simon Segar is now residing at the Lee Crest Apartments.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fecheimer of Huntington Woods have been
vacationing in Northern Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Krolik of Chicago Boulevard have re-
turned from their summer home in Hilton Beach, Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frank of Shrewsbury Road are spending
several weeks in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin J. Goldman of the Hotel Wilshire, who
have been spending the summer in Charlevoix, will return to De-
troit after Labor Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grossman of Santa Barbara Drive have
returned from their vacation in Charlevoix.
Miss Ann Solomon of Glynn Court and Miss Harriet Simon of
the Wilshire Hotel spent a, week in northern Michigan recently.

to attend the wedding on Sept. 3 of their daughter, Joyce, to
George J. Roth of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Henry Well has moved to the Lee Crest Apartments.

ot West Six Mile Road, is visiting reldtives and friends for a fort-
night , in Chicago.
Mrs. Joseph Ullman of Cincinnati has been the guest of her
mother, Mrs. A. M. Ermann, and her sister, Miss Marcia Ermann,
of Merton Road, for the past 10 days:

Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence Segar, with their sons Ronald and
Robert, spent the week in Frankfort, Mich.
Mrs. Motris Gross of Marlow Ave., left this week for Tulsa,
Okla., where she will attend the Bar Mitzvah of Richard Schiller,
on Sept. 2.
Miss Harriet Lewis of Cortland Avenue has returned from Mil-
waukee, where she was guest soloist at the National Convention
of Delta Omicron sorority. In September, Harriet plans to enter
Eastman School of Music at Rochester, N. Y., on a music scholar-
ship.
Mrs. Beulah Lewis of Cortland Ave., spent the past week in
Fairmont, W. Va., where she visited with her son, daughter and
granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. N. Rottenberg and Mr. and Mrs. B. Sumner and
family have returned from vacationing at Michigan Beach Hotel,
Southhaven, Mich., where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. I.
Forman.

The bride wore a simple white
lace ankle-length gown and a
circular illusion veil which was
held in place by a pearl-
trimmed Juliet cap. She carried
a fan of illusion veiling, fes-
tooned with white roses and
streamers.
Gladys Markovitz, maid-of-
honor, and James Golden, best
man, attended the bridal couple.
Rabbi Herschel Stollman of
Brooklyn, a cousin of the bride-
groom, officiated at the cere-
mony.
After their wedding trip, the
couple will be at home at 18411
St. Marys.

bridegroom-elect, a graduate of
Wayne University, served as a
captain in the Air Forces during
World War II. He is currently
regional director of the Council
of Jewish Federations and Wel-
fare Funds.

Romanian Jews in Haifa
HAIFA — (JTA) — A total of

1,585 Jewish immigrants from
Romania arrived here aboard
the Transylvania.

of the Detroit Department of
Heath and the TB and Health
Society. The mobile X-ray unit,
which the TB and Health Soci-

ment of Health in April of this
year, will be located at the
Home Arts Building for that
purpose.

Hours on Yom Kippur

Special registration arrange-
ments for Jewish' students are
being provided at the Univer-
sity of Michigan, where regu-
lar enrollment will be conducted
on Sept. 21, Yom Kippur.
The University registrar an-
nounced that Jewish students
who present evidence that they
attended religious services on
Yom Kippur will be permitted
to register the following day.
