The retail grocers submitted

their price lists and after a
thorough study the Council's
committee did not find that the
retail prices for Passover pro-
ducts were badly out of line.
The fact that additional help
must be hired for both packing
and deliveries, the slow-down of
business just prior to and after
Passover, the stock left on hand

Council that Passover prod-
ucts will be labeled by the

that there will be no labeling
on the retail grocers' premises
and that the abused practice of
the past will be discontinued.
Abuses on the part of indi-
vidual retail grocers should be
reported to the Council. Assur-
ance has been given by the Jew-
ish Retail Grocers Association
that they will act upon regis-
tered complaints. . --

Passover and Freedom are interlinked—they are
inseparable . . . For thousands of years, the
Jewish people has been commemorating the day
of its exodus from bondage and thereby has kept
engraved in its memory the craving for liberty
. . . Therefore Israel has been able to attain
librty, patterned after the ideals of Americah
freedom . . . May this spirit guide the world
to lasting peace.
