To Wed in June
Mr. and Mrs. Morris'Cohen were guests of honor at a surprise
dinner party at Lelli's on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in celebration of their
25th wedding anniversary. The party was given by Mr. and Mrs.
Mac Stulberg, Mr. and Mrs. Ike Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Simkow, Mr. and Mrs. Alec Elbling, Mr. and Mrs. Max Greenblatt,
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Zack and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Goldman.
Mrs. Meyer Cooper of Webb Ave., left for a month's stay with
relatives in Israel.
Mr. and. Mrs. Alex Schreier will leave this week by plane for
a prolonged visit in Israel.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yanich, of Leslie Ave., have as their
guest their son-in-law, Rabbi Walter H. Plaut of Fargo, N. D.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cohen of Cambridge Rd. and Marcia
Cohen are vacationing at the Hollywood Beach Hotel, Hollywood,
Fla.
Beverly Lastar who will .become the bride of Dr. Robert P.
Natelson March 4, has been entertained at luncheons and show-
ers by Mesdames Benjamin Siegel, Albert Finn, Kenneth Lastar,
Harry Schwartz, Benjamin Schwartz, Samuel Schwartz, Benjamin
Gordon, Maxfield Mathis, Harry Davis, Harry Wexler, Jack Bress-
ler, Sy Indianer and Leo Brodman, and Misses Elsie Zaroff, Carol
Goldenberg, Rema Goldman, Thelma Furman, Sandra Edelman
and Harriet Lewis.
Judge William Friedman has sailed for Hawaii on the S. S.
Lurline.
Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Sidney of the Wilshire Hotel are vacationing
in Miami Beach.
Dr. Harry Saltzstein of the Belcrest, Mrs. Herschel Kreger of
Roselawn Ave. and Thomas Kreger have returned from a week-end
visit to Milwaukee, where they joined their family in celebrating
the birthday of their mother, Mrs. D. Saltzstein.
Mrs. Frank Bernstein and son, Harry Bernstein, of Oak Dr.,
are spending a month in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Felix Mahler of Whitmore Rd. are spending
several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lewis in Surfside,
Miami Beach.
Mrs. Philip Bloomgarden of Shrewsbury Rd. has joined friends
from Pennsylvania and is spending three weeks in Hot Springs, Ark.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hersch of Lakepoint Ave. are vacationing
in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Harold Smiley of Balmoral Dr. is visiting her mother in
Pittsburgh.

KOLETSKY-KLEIN. Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Klein announce the
marriage of their daughter,
Jewel, to Dr. Simon Koletsky of
Cleveland. The event took place
at the home of the bride in the
presence of the immediate fam-
ily. A dinner at the Book-
Cadillac Hotel followed.
Miss Koletsky is a graduate of
Wayne University College of
Education and a member of
Sigma Theta Delta sorority. Dr.
Koletsky is a graduate of the
Yale Medical School and a mem-
ber of Phi Beta Kappa and Sig-
ma Yi. He is now on the
faculty of Western Reserve med-
ical school. The couple resides
in Cleveland.

of the executive committee of

cil affiliate, was honored by the
Michigan Chronicle as one of
