a two months' trip during which they visited Israel, Poland,
France, Italy and Switzerland.
Among Detroit vacationers staying at the Hollywood Beach
Hotel, Fla., are Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Sidney of '146 Collingwood, and
Dr. and Mrs. H. Kirschbaum.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry J. Greenblatt of Fairfield Ave., are Vaca-
tioning in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Hoke Levin of Boston Boulevard are spending
a fortnight in Arizona and New Mexico.
Mr. and Mrs. Royal Maas of Cambridge Road are vacationing
in New York City and in Boco Ratan, Fla., for several weeks.
Rabbi and Mrs. A. M. Hershman- have left for Miami Beach
_ where they will spend the remainder of the winter season.
The Huntington Woods Chapter of ORT will be entertained on
Monday, at the home of Mrs. Sidney Forman of Nadine Road, at
a membership luncheon, to be followed by a book review.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman August of Chicago Boulevard are vaca-
tioning in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stamler of Muirland Ave. are in Miami
Beach, where they are staying at the Sherry Frontenac Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Myers, Rodney Myers Jr., Mr. and Mrs. G.
Gilbert and Miss Sadie Hirschman spent the week-end visiting in
Chicago.
Rabbi and Mrs. Morris Adler are spending a fortnight in Miami
Beach.
Mrs. Milton Alexander of Calvert Ave. left this week to spend
six weeks in Los Angeles, where she will visit her sister and broth-
er-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Browd.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rubiner of Muirland Ave. are vacation-
ing in Miami Beach, at the Bel Aire Hotel.

Roosevelt Association
Plans Festival, Exhibit

Children of Roosevelt School
will spend the evening of Wed-
nesday, Feb. 22, with their par-
ents and friends, at a school
festival and exhibit beginning
at 5 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m.,
under the auspices of the Roose-
velt Better H01116 and School
Association.
A cafeteria, run by the moth-
ers, will provide supper facilities,
after which there will be con-
tinuously-run movies; a ma-
gician's show; science, art, and
early American exhibits; a mini-
ature night-club arrangement
with children pr o v i d i n g the
floor show, and social dancing.

Three sections of the Michi-
gan Region, American Women's
ORT, announce the culmination
of membership drives in meet-
ings to be 'held during the com-
ing week. All are in the form of
dessert luncheons, and in each
case a "member-bring-a-mem-
ber" policy is being followed.
The Huntington Woods group
will meet at the home of Mrs.
Sidney Foreman, 8776 Nadine
Rd., at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb.
20. A short ORT talk by the
president, Mrs. Fred Collier, will
be followed by a book review.
On the same date, the North-
east section will gather at the
home of Mrs. Jules Solomon,
1750 Strathcoma, where they
will be greeted by Mrs. Clarence
Enggass, president. Dr. Goode,
of Wayne University, who has
recently completed a study of
marriage and divorce will be the
guest speaker.
ORT South members will be
the guests of Mrs. Samuel Danto
on Friday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. at
her home at 2224 W. Chicago.
They will be greeted by Mrs.
Harold Kukas, president of the
group, and will hear Mrs. Louis
Fraiberg, child therapist, who
