Detroiters Pledge Additional $11,800
To Aid Non-Sectarian Brandeis. U.

A group of Detroiters interested in the •upbuilding of Brandeis
University at Waltham, Mass., pledged an estimated $11,800 for the
school at a dinner meeting Tuesday evening at the Great Lakes
Club, at which Dr. Abram L/Sachar, president of Brandeis, painted
a glowing picture of the initial years of the first Jewish-sponsored
non-sectarian university in America.
