Mrs. N. J. Rossen entertained 24 guests at her home on La-
Salle Blvd., in honor of her sister-in-law, Edith Reznick, whose
marriage will take place this month.
In honor of their 40th anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Rothenberg of Calvert Ave. were entertained at a surprise dinner
party for the immediate family, given by their children.
Mrs. Harry Satovsky of 3455 W. Outer Dr. and her brother-
in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. S. Goldberg of Buffalo, N. Y., left
to visit with their family in Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. John W. Schneider and family, formerly of
Blaine Ave., are now residing at their new home on Santa Rosa
Dr.
A sweet-sixteen party was given for Betty Reiss at Frame's,
Dec. 10, by her mother, Mrs. Jacob Reiss, 1698 Collingwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frank of New York City have spent the
week visiting in ' Detroit at the home of their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lewis Frank of Shrewsbury Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. M. George Wayburn of Huntington Woods have
returned from a three weeks' trip to Palm Springs and Los
Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Moe Ehrlich of W. Boston Blvd. are leaving this
week to visit with their family in Philadelphia and New York
City, en route to Miami Beach, where they will spend six weeks
at Triton Hall.
Honoring Mrs. Ludwig Kaphan, of New York City, national
president of ORT, Mrs. Arthur Bloom entertained at a luncheon
on Monday, at her home on Gloucester Dr. Invited to meet Mrs.
Kaphan were past presidents, chapter presidents and members of
the executive board of ORT.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyers of Lincolnshire Drive are vaca-
tioning in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Cohen of Northlawn Ave. are visiting friends
and relatives in Ephrata and Reading, Pa.
Mrs. Irving Hirschman, accompanied by her sister, Mrs.
Nathan Sloss, is spending several weeks in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Mildred Lester is spending two months in Los Angeles,
visiting her son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Lester, and
her sister, Mrs. Florence Weinstein.
Miss Julia Klein and her. father, Aaron Klein, of Chicago Blvd.,
have left for a two months' sojourn in Miami Beach.
