Longfellow Ave. has left for Palo Alto, Calif., to resume his post-
graduate studies at Stanford University.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Hershaft of Los Angeles and their
nephew, Bob Mason, will be the guests for a -Week of Mrs. Fanny

' David Feldman and his son, Seymour, of Youngstown, 0.,
spent a few days here visiting members_of their family enroute
to St. Louis, Mich., where they will be the guests of his son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David Seitner.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rosenthal of Pontiac had as their guest
last week, his daughter, Mrs. Lester Morrison of Hollywood.
Mrs. Harry Coleman of Waltham Ave. has returned from Cleve-
land where she visited with friends.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Grossman have left for Miami Beach to
spend the winter.

Mrs. Samuel B. Gutterman, ad
chairman of the Greater Detroit
Bnai Brith Women's Council, an-
nounces Oct. 26 as the ad dead-
line for the forthcoming fund-
raising affair.
The event, the third city-wide
Bnai Britih Women's donor, is
scheduled for Nov. 21 at Masonic
Temple.
Proceeds will be used to help
fill the numerous philanthropic
obligations of Bnai - Brith Wo-
men. Among the Fraternal or-
der's projects. are the Anti-De-
famation League, Bellefaire Or-
phanage in Cleveland, the Na-
tional Jewish Hospital, Leo Levi
Hospital, the only hospital in
the United States specializing
in treatment of arthritis, and
aid-to-Israel.
Other projects are the. Bnai
Brith - Youth Organization, the
Hillel Foundations,- service to
veterans' hospitals, and com-
munity projects• such as the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign, the Com-
munity Chest (now the Torch
Fund) and the Ruth Alden dress
fund.
