Melvin Judah and Gail Cheryl have returned to their home in
Brooklyn, N. Y., after spending a month with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. I. L. Levine of Sturtevant Ave.
• Mr. and Mrs. David Adler and son, Reuben, of New York City
were guests of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Simon Adler of Gladstone Ave. The David Adlers are enroute
to Mackinac Island. Befort returning to their home in New York
th'ey expect to stop in Montreal and Quebec for a brief stay.
Mr. I. Jacobs, Mrs. Theresa Weinstein of Cape Town, South
Africa, and Sam Jacobs of San Antonio, Tex., are visiting their
relatives, Henrietta Garvett and sisters, of Monterey Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris H. Goldberg of Richton Ave. have re-
turned from a 10 day motor trip to the East, including stops in
Rochester, New York City, Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
Mr. arid Mrs. Joseph Ainbinder 'gave a surprise dinned and
reception at their summer home in honor of their sister and bro-
ther-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis B _ ensman, on her 25th wedding
anniversary.
Mrs. I. Kardener of Fullerton Ave. entertained her niece,
Rochelle.Kaell, of Toronto, at a luncheon.
Mrs. Arthur L. Robbins of Detroit is the guest of her brother-
in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Friedman of Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Field of Cherrylawn Ave. have re-
turned from a trip to Algonquin Park, Canada, where they visited
their son, Irwin, at Camp Tamakwa.
Mrs. Calvin Prady and children, Audrey Diane, Barbara Ann
and Norman Philip, are spending the summer in Miami Beach.
Mrs. Milton Escher and her daughter, Peggy, are visiting
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jules Klein of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Perlmutter of Chicago Blvd. have
returned from Harbor Springs, where they were guests at the
harbor Springs Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baum of Fairfield Ave. and Mr. and Mrs.
Clement Hopp of Longfellow Ave. left Saturday for a stay at
Camp Nebagamon in Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Davis of Muirland Ave. have returned
from a stay in New York. •

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Snider of Northlawn Ave. spent a few days
at the National Music Camp at Interlochen, Mich., where their
son, Larry, is a student. They are now at Charlevoix, where they
will spend the remainder of the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Begun of 18627 Marlowe entertained guests
at a Bar B .Q steak roast Aug. 21 in the patio of their home.
Mrs. Monroe Rosenfield of the Belcrest has 'returned from
a few weeks in New York and Maine where she visited with
members of her family.
Bnai David Sisterhood
To Resume Activities
Bnai David Sisterhood will re-
sume its activities on Monday
evening, Sept. 12, when the
board will meet at the home of
Marian Otis, 2663 _Tuxedo.
Plans will be made for the
donor luncheon, to be held
Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Bnai
David social hall. Jay Gerber,
pantomimist, will be featured
artist. Proceeds are destined for
support of the Bnai David Sun-
day School.
