Hotel Book-Cadillac . . . But no

voice of Arthur "Harpo" Marx
. . . Sans his blonde wig and
comedy get-up, the muted one-
third member of the Marx
Brothers was just another per-
son trying to get out of a
crowded elevator.

For United Campaign

Miss Cashman Plans
Tour to Israel in
Time for Holy Days

Rhea E. Cashman of World Wide
Travel Bureau announced this
week that due to the unexpected
call from South America, the
tour of the S.S. Argentine, listed
for a special cruise to Israel for
the High Holy Days, has been
cancelled.
Miss Cashman announces that
tourists who were to have gone
on this trip will be leaving Sept.
1 on the famous Caronia for
France and Switzerland and the
Italian Lakes before leaving for
Israel where they will arrive in
time for the Holy Days.
Arrangements also are being
made by Miss Cashrnan for tour-
ists desiring; to go to Israel via
Air France.

Edmund Kahn Is Among
First Electronics Grads

Edmund Leon Kahn of 8710
Dumbarton Rd., is a member of
the first -grad-
uating class of
the Electronics
Institute. Diplo-

the graduates as

neers were
awarded at ex-
ercises July 28
at Masonic Kahn
Temple. All of the 18 graduates
are former GIs who completed
the three-year course under the
GI Bill of Rights.

The United Foundation has
announced that it will campaign
this fall under the name "The
Torch Fund." This designation
was selected by a panel of jud-
ges from thousands of sugges-
tions entered in a recent nam-
ing contest.
The judges also selected
"United We Give—United, We
Live" as the campaign motto.
