Hold Memorial Day Rites

All Detroit congregations, veterans' organization and
the Chesed shel Emes (Hebrew Benevolent Society) have
arranged for special services for the observance of Me-
morial Day.

the fallen veterans. After the
services the post will participate
in the unveiling of a: headstone
for Pvt. Dietz.
At 2 p.m. the post will par-
ticipate in the memorial serv-
ices of Cong. Shaarey Zedek at
Clover Hill Cemetery. Dr. R. R.
Goldstone, post commander, will
be one of the speakers. The post
will participate in the presen-
tation of a flag and the unveil-
ing of a monument at Clover
Hill Cemetery.
Gold Star fathers, mothers,
wives and families are invited to
attend a special memorial serv-
ice for Jewish War Veterans at
the Shaarey Zedek at 9:30 a.m.

Chesed shel Emes
The annual Memorial Day
rally of the Hebrew Benevolent
Society (Chesed shel Eines) will
be held at Hebrew Memorial
Park, 14-Mile and Gratiot
Roads, at 2 p.m. Sunday. This
meeting is being arranged in
tribute to the memory of the
6,000,000 martyrs. Rabbi Leizer
Levine, Rabbi Moses Lehrman,
Abraham H. Jafflin and a rep-
resentative of the Jewish War
Veterans will be the speakers.
Cantor Hyman Adler will ren-
der liturgical selections.
